You will oversee the strategic and operational management of the IT department to ensure alignment with the organization's business objectives, encompassing comprehensive planning, coordination, direction, and design of IT-related activities, while also providing administrative oversight for daily operations. You will supervise IT technicians and game techs, collaborate closely with department leaders to develop, implement, and support cost-effective technology solutions, and establish IT policies, procedures, and best practices. Our client is looking for a proven leader/manager with at least 3 years of experience managing, configuring, and troubleshooting large-scale IP networks and Microsoft 365 / Azure administration experience. To be successful in this role, you must be able to prioritize, delegate, triage, and help set goals for the team to accomplish. IT Manager Responsibilities --- - -Lead operational and strategic IT planning; foster innovation and organize resource allocation--- - -Manage IT department budget and cost management; supervise and develop IT staff of 6--- - -Oversee deployment, maintenance, and support of all IT systems and equipment--- - -Ensure high performance and availability of critical IT systems through proactive measures--- - -Oversee end-user services, including help desk and technical support--- - -Develop training programs to maximize effective use of IT systems--- - -Manage, troubleshoot & implement large-scale IP networks ---- - -Develop and implement architecture, security, and disaster recovery policies and procedures--- - -Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for high-quality service delivery--- - -Practice asset management for IT hardware, software, and equipment--- - -Ensure proper inventory, lifecycle management, and cost-effective procurement--- - -Foster a collaborative environment with coaching and development opportunities IT Manager Qualifications - --- - -3+ years' managing, troubleshooting & implementing IP networks experience required--- - -3+ years of Microsoft 365 / Azure Administration experience required--- - -1+ years of supervisory experience required--- - -Experience with on-premise server environments, Active Directory, Group Policy required--- - -Schedule flexibility required; ability to work nights & weekends + rotate being on-call
