Job Description:

offer young learners the opportunity to travel to one of our
international language campuses in North America, for one week up
to one year, improving their English language skills in a robust
program while participating in a full-activity program of sports,
excursions, and lots more!About the roleIn this role, you will have
responsibility for the smooth running of the residence and ensure a
high level of customer service and student satisfaction.Please note
that the role is on a rotation basis and one can expect to work
from Tuesday-Saturday or Sunday to Thursday.Your key tasks will
consist of, but not be limited to:
- Welcome groups each weekend and host orientation meetings
- Scheduling work hours & managing the RA team onsite
- Liaising / daily communicating with international group
leaders
- Planning and managing arrivals and departures
- Assigning duties and schedule to RAs to ensure cover at all
times in line with staff student ratio and nightly curfew checks
are carried out
- Assigning RAs to evening student social activities
- Liaising closely with catering, residence suppliers, leaders
and school staff
- Reviewing residence reports and following up with relevant
team/ partners
- Ensuring accommodation meets high standards of quality,
cleanliness, and comfort
- Ensuring a consistently high quality of meals
- Coordinating and reporting damage checks to school residence
coordinator
- Supporting students' welfare and discipline. Pro-active
approach to maintain standards of respect for community, property
and meets with students who are in violation of the residence
rules, writes a warning letter up for them to sign (Any serious
violations or second-time offenders are handled directly by the
Director of Student Services/ Executive Director due to
severity).
- Dealing with problems and emergency situations should they
arise
- Other duties as assigned by Director of Student Services
- Being on emergency call on rotation and assigning schedule to
RAsRequirements
- Flexible, problem solver with excellent communication
skills
- Organized with a high level of attention to detail.
- Self-motivated, work under own initiative.
- Have the right to live and work in the country of
employment.
- Complete fluency in English.
- Attend a training weekend before your contract commencing.
- Must be over the age of 21, background check will be carried
out
- Bachelor's DegreeMay - August, 2025, Temporary Full-time. For
the right candidate, the position may lead to permanent employment
at the EF year-round school in Santa Barbara.Earnings$25/ hour +
