Job Description:
A company is looking for a Staff Pharmacist Refill Call
Center.
Key Responsibilities
Gather pertinent information from incoming calls regarding
medications and perform medication reviews
Interpret and clarify physicians' medication orders and authorize
prescription refills as needed
Document encounters in the electronic medical record and
participate in the creation of scripting and documentation
materials
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy (Required), Doctoral Degree
(Preferred)
Minimum of 4 years of related work experience (Required)
Licensed Pharmacist in Pennsylvania within 90 days (Required)
Ability to enter into collaborative practice agreements with health
system physicians
Experience in reviewing patient medication profiles for drug
sensitivities and interactions
